It’s halfway through the first month of a new year…and I’m wanting to know how are you feeling?

Recently, I was about to give a guest a facial and we were having a conversation during our consultation. She mentioned how she was really looking forward to this day, not only for the immediate benefits of healthy skin,  but how she moved through life following her time spent at Sanctuary. She has a clearer perspective of what she needs to do to function her best and healthy habits are reignited.  She leaves relaxed, with glowing skin, and emotionally replenished. Like a positive domino effect, she then maintains that feeling by taking better care of herself physically as well as mentally. She intentionally slows down,  goes to bed earlier,  drinks more water, is more conscious of the foods she’s consuming, and chooses to read over screen time…so the glow continues. That one 90 minute service has a lasting impact ALL MONTH LONG!!!

For as much as I love a relaxing getaway, or the fresh start of a new year, they don’t have quite the same effect for me. This got me thinking…what are my personal switches that turn on positive habits and ignites a healthy domino effect in my life? 

They say you are the product of  5 people you spend the most time with.  And I believe this to be true! As a busy mom of 3, a business owner, and well…COVID, my social life is pretty quiet these days.  But I believe any information you  consume can be included in this circle of 5 “friends”. Books, podcasts, or even Instagram feeds…they can elevate you as much as bring you down. I feel amazingly inspired in a really impactful way when I read a good book or listen to a great podcast.  In the car, on a run, or cleaning the house; an inspiration is always near. So I just wanted to share my circle of 5 with you and hope they move you forward in a positive and intentional direction.
